Without troubling the body with regular and rigid workouts, natural bodybuilding with determination and self-discipline, as a best alternative, can build a well shaped body. To supplement the body building efforts, balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein and other nutrients including fat for necessary energy during work out.

Lowering carbohydrate intake in the bodybuilding meal results in the lowering of  body metabolism causing build up of extra calories as fat without breaking down as energy. Losing large amount of fat in the body building foods result in adverse effects on body building. This creates dependency on low fat or fat free products to meet the nutritional requirements, decreasing the fat metabolism. Hence little and no fat diet ultimately leads to retardation of growth. Taking right food with appropriate protein products and dietary supplements will enhance body building plan and meet the nutritional requirements. Though dietary supplements burn the fat in the body, overeating does not enable the supplements to burn the excess calories. In fact, eating too much of protein products and supplements, like protein bars, tablets or shakes is a hurdle in the body building plan causing undue stress on the system.
