New York Pro 2025 Results Breakdown

These are the breaking 2025 NY Pro results from all nine divisions. We’ve discussed the winner from each division, giving our thoughts on their overall performance. Our New York Pro winners list included the top five placings from each division.

Men’s Open Bodybuilding

Nick Walker cemented his place as one of the main Olympia contenders by convincingly beating William Bonac. His win in New York is his first major victory since taking time off due to injury and disappointing placings. With this, he earns automatic Olympia qualification and gains some momentum as we move through the season.

William Bonac once again showed why he still belongs at the top of the division, taking a well-deserved second place. At 43 years old, he’s one of the oldest open athletes on stage. While he brought a great package, he didn’t quite have the muscularity and size to match Nick.

In third place, Michal Krizanek continued his rise into the spotlight by taking third place. While he has the potential to be a future champion, he doesn’t quite yet have the muscle maturity.

  • First Place — Nick Walker (USA)
  • Second Place — William Bonac (NLD)
  • Third Place — Michal Krizanek (SVK)
  • Fourth Place — Regan Grimes (CAN)
  • Fifth Place — Sasan Heirati (UK)

Top Performances & Olympia Implications

The 2025 New York Pro lineup featured elite-level competitors throughout the nine divisions. The hype surrounding the weekend centered around Nick Walker’s second competition after not competing for over a year. Terrance Ruffin also made his second competitive appearance after taking time away from the Classic Division.

Here’s our brief New York Pro 2025 recap after an exciting weekend of high-quality competition.

After narrowly losing out to Derek in Pittsburgh, Nick Walker took a dominant win in New York. Once again, he showcased his freaky muscularity and size, having way too much for the other open competitors.

Alongside earning an automatic Olympia qualification, he puts himself firmly back in contention as one of the men to watch. Many people, including myself, were unsure if Nick would even return to the stage. Safe to say he’s definitely back after two very impressive showings.

In the Men’s Classic division, Terrance Ruffin once again dominated, showcasing his effortless posing and incredible flow. Aside from Chris Bumstead, he has one of my favorite physiques. Now that Chris has retired, he’s surely one of the firm favorites to take the vacant Olympia title.

The New York Pro once again showed why it remains an iconic event in the bodybuilding calendar. With Nine more Olympia spots taken, its time to move to the next event as we get closer to the big day.
